Cell Phones for Soldiers

AT&T Wireless stores are now accepting used cell phones for a non-profit program that benefits military families, called “Cell Phones for Soldiers”.

They collect and recycle used wireless phones and the proceeds are used to buy prepaid phone cards for US military members serving overseas.

Two teens started the program in 2004 and have raised more than $1 million, sending over 75,000 phone cards to troops overseas.

Volunteer opportunities…

Donate your used cell phone at an AT&T Wireless store near you.
