• Member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC)-  the largest and oldest community service organization of volunteer women in the world.

• Comprised of women from all walks of life, all ages, all races, and all creeds.

• Six general volunteer areas (Arts, Conservation, Conservation, Homelife, International Affairs and Public Affairs)

• Involved in major issues of our time (Abuse prevention, Women's Health, Literacy, Community Improvement etc.)

HOW IS CWONC DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS?

• We have a wide variety of project opportunities.

• Members volunteer in the areas they are interested in.

• CWONC's projects fit contemporary women's schedules.

• Our members choose the volunteer commitment that works for them- 2 hours a week or as little as 2 hours per month.

• CWONC stresses fun and friendships as a way to fit volunteering into our busy lives.
