• TUBFRIM was originally established in 1928 to help finance research on tuberculosis and to aid children afflicted by the disease. 
• Since this disease has been almost eradicated,  the objective changed to help handicapped children/youth. 
• TUBFFIM provides financial aid for the Society of Health and Development of Retarded Children and Youth in Norway
