Mission: of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. The March of Dimes carries out its mission through our Campaign for Healthier Babies, which funds programs of research, community services, education and advocacy. Donations to MOD helps to: Finance Research Grants, Community Grants, Health Career Internships for graduating high school seniors, Salk Symposium for high school students, Speakers Bureau, Community networking, Think Ahead Campaign-to educate health care providers, Chain Reaction Youth Council for high school students interested in promoting the mission of MOD.
