CWONC Membership Tea 2002

Tea at Enchanted Oaks in Escondido.

The Contemporary Women of North County (CWONC) hosted a very successful Membership Tea. The entrée included 4 types of finger sandwiches, scones, and dessert.

President Ann Lygas and Membership Chairwoman Bonnie Armstrong presented Pat Bishop, the hostess of the Membership Tea, with an Honorary Membership Certificate.

The members and guests were entertained by a skit entitled “The Advantages of The Sisterhood of CWONC” written by Bonnie Armstrong, Membership Chairwoman, that highlighted the advantages of becoming a CWONC member, and that “STRENGTH UNITED IS STRONGER” .

Registration fees were waived for all guests that signed up at the tea. Even the King, Elvis Presley, was mentioned in this skit presented by President Ann Lygas, Chairwoman Bonnie Armstrong, and guest Donna Jenkins.
