Miss San Marcos Pageant Lunch
March 15, 2008
San Marcos,
Civic Center
Project Chair: Laura Collins
How many of you
have watched Sandra Lee’s “Almost Homemade” TV show on the Cooking channel?
Sandra uses “mostly” commercially made items to put together everything from
an elegant dinner party to a picnic. Her show always concludes with some
great ideas to create an “eye catching” tablescape.
Now, how many of
you would like to give some of her ideas a try? Well, here’s your chance.
Join the Miss San Marcos Entertainment Team (that’s us-my sister Cwoner’s)
and let’s see what we can do to throw a beautiful TEA or LUNCHEON for the
Miss San Marcos Pageant.
It will be our
responsibility to decorate the tables, organize the meal (a party tray will
work just fine!) and perhaps, buy or make a small amenity for each
contestant and judge. I will be asking for a budget of $100 to cover the
costs. There are usually no more than 12 contestants and 4 judges.
