We shared a wonderful afternoon of fine teas, delicious
treats, delightful company, musical entertainment and opportunity drawings
as we celebrated the history of Old Glory. We enjoyed something new this
year. We shopped at the Wood House Craft Faire for up coming Mother's Day
and got an early start on holiday shopping.
Our contributions supported: Contemporary Women's 2002
projects geared towards helping women and children of San Marcos, Escondido
and Vista and the City of San Marcos' "Just Girls" mentoring program. "Just
Girls" brings together junior high girls ages 11-15 and young women ages
17-23 interacting with one another providing leadership, social experiences,
educational encouragement and friendship. |
