Annual November Weekend Getaway

Angels's Landing, Julian

Our CWONC "Retreats to Julian" started back in 1998 as another San Diego Junior District "get together".

The first year was more of a "formal" affair and we had planned activities that centered around the holidays: everything from gift wrapping ideas to "how to go from the office to a party with a few hair and clothing accessories.

On Saturday evening, we gathered around a roaring fire, as a long time resident of Julian "spun a tale" of gold seekers and cattle drives back in late part of the 19th century.

Today, we shop, hike and meet for lunch and dinner in town...then back to Angel's Landing for games, crafting or just relaxing.
